This piece was created as an experiment with various drawing and painting media. I wanted to use abstract techniques and not think about a topic. I allowed each step of the process to guide the next step, transforming and growing the design and concept. The emergence of the final piece gave me the same feeling of developing photos in a darkroom. The details emerging from the interacting spaces become symbols of my story. The process is an allegory of my journey through life, my path through history. Within the lines and colors, I see my path, my testimony, and my relationship with God, a chronicle both physical and spiritual.
