Born and raised in Ocala, I grew up surrounded by love and encouragement. My parents instilled in me the confidence to pursue my dreams wholeheartedly. After earning my degree from Florida A&M University, I joined the United States Air Force, dedicating my time and service to this nation. Along the way, I faced challenges I never could have imagined, navigating through some of life’s most demanding moments.
As my career unfolded, I was blessed with the greatest gift, a beautiful daughter named Zuri. She has become my inspiration and a constant reminder of God’s grace in my life. I am deeply grateful for the path He has laid before me, allowing me to turn my experiences into meaningful art.
Through my work, I strive to share my journey, weaving together stories of resilience, faith, and gratitude. Art has become my way of connecting with others, celebrating the beauty of life’s challenges, and honoring the many roles I’ve been privileged to embrace.
StatementAs both a proud mother and an active-duty service member, my love for art serves as a bridge between two deeply meaningful parts of my life. In the chaos and structure of my military career, art has always been a sanctuary, a place where I can reconnect with myself and express the emotions, stories, and moments that often go unspoken. Being a mother has only deepened this connection, as I see the world through my child’s eyes. Her curiosity and boundless imagination inspire my work, reminding me to cherish the beauty in the everyday.
