Maya is an amazing 13 year old girl on the autism spectrum. She lives with her mother and grandmother, and has a deep passion for dogs. She uses her art to express her love for dogs, and to share that love with others. She enjoys participating in creative sessions with her mother and grandmother with Arts in Health Ocala Metro at The Pearl Project of Ocala.
StatementMy name is Maya James. I love making dog portraits. I enjoy creating and making my dogs Lucky and Layla with realistic textures like the eyes, fur, nose, teeth, tongue, fur, and fabric texture of their bow or collars. I also enjoy mixing the paint to make colors like apricot and so many more. It makes me feel happy, 100 percent.
